McPherson Public Schools is pleased to announce that Mr. Kyle Unruh was selected as the Secondary Teacher of the Year.
Mr. Unruh directs the McPherson Middle School and McPherson High School band programs. His hard work and dedication have resulted in numerous awards and top ratings for the programs.
Building leaders each selected a nominee to represent their building and teachers across the district had the opportunity to vote for their choice for Teacher of the Year. Mr Unruh was the winner of that voting process and will go on to represent McPherson in competition with teachers from other Kansas schools as a part of the Kansas Teacher of the Year Program.
