Board of Education Approves Strategic Plan

At the June meeting, the Board of Education officially approved our new five-year strategic plan. This plan is the result of a yearlong process that included surveys, focus groups, and planning sessions with staff, students, families, and community members—all working together to shape the future of USD 418.

The plan outlines a clear direction for the next five years, built around three focus areas:

Student Success – Supporting academic growth, emotional wellbeing, and real-world readiness
Partnerships & Future-Ready Facilities – Strengthening community partnerships and aligning learning spaces to student needs
Empowering Culture – Building a supportive, inclusive environment where all students and staff feel valued and connected

"I’m proud of the thoughtful and deliberate work our board invested in this plan,” said Superintendent Dr. Shiloh Vincent. “It builds on the progress we’ve made through Vision 2025 and sets the direction for years to come."

Follow along as we share more about each focus area and what it means for our schools and community.
